Disegno Journal

Seaweedworks met India Block, Deputy Editor of Disegno Journal and discussed the role of seaweed in sustainable fashion. We spoke about how each of the Seaweedworks contributors bring different insights to the evolution of working with seaweed and how the pooling of this information benefits us all. The piece covered the harvesting, treating and designing with the seaweed as well as the design techniques we have adopted. We also explained how each piece is both an art piece as well as a piece of research and a stress test of the garment.
