Tanguy Mélinand - Seaweedworks designer

Tanguy Mélinand graduated from Geneve University of Art and Design in 2022 with a collection untilising seaweed, and won Gold prize from the Yinger international Fashion competition. He is currently working on his Masters degree in fashion design. His tailoring using seaweed is completely unique and has been complimented by his attention to precision and symmetry.

Eydís graduated from The Iceland University of the Arts with a degree in Fashion Design. She works creating designs using seaweed-derived agar-based bioplastic which she uses to mimic the shapes and textures of seaweed. Her direction brings a wholly different approach to working with seaweed.
