Reykjavik Design March

Seaweedworks were Artists In Residence at The Reykjavik EDITION hotel producing a 7 day exhibition and installation inside the hotel entrance and lobby participating in the cities’ Design March Festival.

We displayed seaweed fashion pieces created by Drifa Líftóra hanging on eco-friendly mannequins from our partners Mannequino, as well as seaweed samples and a photography exhibition by Tanguy Cattin showing designs from Tanguy Mélinand along side a design station where Tanguy sat working on on creating seaweed accessories. The project was supported by the Embassy of France in Iceland and concluded with a press reception organised by Purple PR attended by leading fashion and lifestyle journalists.
